Troy-wow! what a story. Quiz tomorrow and so many names to remember: Agamemnon, Paris, Achilles, Hector, Clytemnestra, Helen, the Trojan Horse -what a cast of characters. I'd only vaguely heard some of these names-now I know the story (sort of) Hopefully I will remember who is who-or who is whom? must do a grammar check!
Ugh! The thought of grammar and all the prepositions, verb particles, adjectivals, adverbials, coordinating or subordinating conjunctions...was I just asleep in grammar through out my school years? At the moment I feel as if I can't find a subject or object in a sentence-it's just too much. Or maybe...I can buy and old School of Rock and listen to the conjunction junction and find out the function...

This isn't layman's grammar. This is grammar on steroids! There is no way in Hades we studied this in school when we were young. You are doing fabulous, even if you don't think so. I think so....so there! ;-)
Why did the insubordinate adjectival cross the road?
You're doing great. How could you have the clarity and uncluttered plates those kids have. I give you a lot of credit. You are lucky to be able to go after the education you aways wanted.
